Craig Bellamy has resumed training with the rest of his Newcastle United team-mates after a fresh injury scare, which saw him leave the pitch against Blackburn Rovers with a swollen knee. It was his first game for four months and there were concerns that the injury would again be long term.

The scan showed no link to his previous problems and after an international break this week Bellamy looks set to play against Boro.
“Craig Bellamy has improved every day since last Wednesday and we will be disappointed if he's not there on Saturday.”
Woodgate and Bowyer are also back in training with the possibility of a game against local Middlesboro, leaving Sir Bobby with a full squad to make his selection.
“And I have to say that Lee Bowyer has really been flying in training this week and he is up for selection.”
"Jonathan Woodgate also got in an hour with us yesterday but it's a case of wait and see as far as he is concerned."
