NOBBY EYES EUROPE

Villa are now just two points away from fourth place after a run of seven wins in 10 games, and Nobby is hopeful that his new club will be playing European football next year.

Solano said: "Now we [Villa] are pushing forward and you never know what can happen.

"We have a chance to qualify for the Uefa Cup. That is feeling in the dressing room.

"But we have to take things quietly and don't promise anything.

"But we have won our last three games and we are in a great position."

Villa bounced back from conceding a first minute goal at Fulham to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Juan Pablo Angel and Darius Vassell.

Solano added: "It was a great result at Fulham as it is never easy to go there and win.

"We played very well in the first half. We didn't play so well in the second half but we fought for every single ball and we got the points."
