ROBSON REJECTS BRIDGES RUMOURS
|
Reports this weekend suggested that Robson wanted to make a bid for the former Sunderland star in order to boost his attacking options and to take some of the goalscoring burden off Alan Shearer.
Bridges believed to be keen on a move away from Elland Road in order to earn a regular first-team place after being frustrated at his lack of first team action he has seen at Leends due to a role as a substitute this season after recovering from injury.
"I've been told that Leeds will not let any player go under any circumstances until their financial situation is resolved," said Robson.
"That's the situation as I understand it."
