LUALUA WANTS ANSWERS!

LuaLua is going to captain the DR Congo in Tunisia at the African Nations Cup, but is baffled at Newcastle over his rank in the pecking order.

LuaLua wants to be told once and for all whether or not he still has a role to play in his sides push for the fourth Champions League place.

Speaking to the Sunday Sun, LuaLua said: "I haven't figured much in the first team this season, just a few games. I'm 23 and not getting any younger.

"In football, you don't want to be known as just part of the squad.

"You want to be one of the best and the only way you can do that is by playing football.

"Hopefully after the tournament I can come back and talk to the manager and see if I have a future at the club.

"I've got another two years at Newcastle, I love the club and I don't believe the fans have seen the best of me yet.

"But football is a funny old game. Last year I had a run in the team, I was playing but I got taken out of the team. This season, I'm fourth choice."

He is fed up of playing one or two games in order to prove himself, and wants to know for definate what role he will have in the future of the club.

"You can't expect me to do some magic when I haven't played for a long time and then I just get one game," he said.

"If the manager doesn't want me and I'm not part of his plans then I'm sure other clubs will take me."
