FOXES NIK DABIZAS

Leicester City are ready complete a loan move for Newcastle defender Nikos Dabizas.

The Greece international is due to have a medical with the Foxes after agreeing personal terms, but will not feature in their FA Cup tie at Manchester City.

Dabizas wants regular action in order to boost his chances of earning a place in the Greek squad for Portugal 2004 and Leicester could be the place.

He has been out first team action all season, but his experience could be what Leicester are looking as they attempt to stay in the top flight.

Dabizas has agreed an initial six-month contract until the end of the season - but has the option to extend.
