Newcastle United boss Sir Bobby Robson has praised Welsh ace Craig Bellamy for the effort he has put into his rehabilitation.

Bellamy is closing in on a return from recent knee surgery and Sir Bobby told Sky Sports: "He is working extremely hard and is keen.

"He is working hard, there is no one better at rehab than Craig, and he has had a serious injury and it does take time.

"We reckon he has got a good six weeks to go, so early February is probably when we will see him. "
