Liverpool's Gerrard Escapes Punishment For Tackle

Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard has escaped punishment for his tackle on Nolberto Solano during Saturday's game. Referee Graham Poll has told the FA that he saw the incident during the game and the FA cannot initiate disciplinary proceedings on incidents, which have been seen by the officials.

Referee Graham Poll has told the FA that he saw the incident during the game - The FA now view the issue as closed as they cannot initiate disciplinary proceedings on incidents, which have been seen by the officials.
