With United's 1-0 victory over Aston Villa on the weekend all but sealing league status for another year, they can give this a real go and treat it like a cup tie. Remy Cabella remains injured, while Jack Colback completes a two-game ban. Manchester United defenders Phil Jones and Luke Shaw return after missing the win against Sunderland through illness and injury respectively.

If Newcastle were to win Man United that would give us our second back-to-back victory for the first time since November. This is going to be a very tough game as Man U have only lost 2 of their last 17 Premier league matches (W11, D4). In many games of this season Man U have only took the lead in the second half, so if we can get a goal in the first half and hopefully shake their confidence for the second half and possibly score another goal. But yet again, Our scored goals has a 69% in the second half.

Wayne Rooney has scored 12 Premier League goals against us awell as Juan Mata scoring 3 goals past us at St. James Park. As we have Haidara missing out this match due to a knee injury, Ryan Taylor will be taking his position and i hope, like the Villa match he plays well and keeps the defence strong.

After talking about all the statistics, i would be happy with 1 point from the visitors but 3 points would be outstanding, putting us 1 point away from Stoke City (10th). but if we hopefully pull a point away from this game that would put us an extra point away from Palace who were beat by (5th) Southamption 1-0 away.

This isn't Dave, not his sort of articles. I have suspicions it may be the guys behind the scenes trying to generate some interest on the sportnetwork.
