IMPORTANT: Fixture Change NUFC v CARDIFF

Newcastle United's clash with Cardiff City at St James' Park has been re-scheduled from Saturday 6th February 2010 to 7.45pm on Friday 5th February 2010, after it clashed with Sunderland's home game against Wigan Athletic on the same day.

With a distance of approximately 315 miles round trip between the two sides it is one of the furthest fixtures in the Championship calendar for Cardiff and the move will mean many Cardiff fans who have already booked travel and/or accommodation in advance having to re-arrange or face being out of pocket. Additionally the move could see Cardiff fans fail to fill their allocation as they face a long journey on a Friday night.

Neither the BBC nor SKY have so far announced plans to cover the game.
