1-0 down - Joey Barton giving a free kick for Jimmy Smith to score

Amazes me that the commentators are calling the above a strong team whereas last season it was a weak team(Sm164)

Is Harper injured or just being rested for these friendlies?

I'd like to book the left midfield berth if Coloccini is playing right back for Newcastle! (Sm122)

Its disappointing to lose this much, but many things may change before the season starts, so may be too much should not be read into about today's game.

Laugh now, but its the one who laughs last who has the best laugh, so while Leeds are still in League One, and visit St. James Park on Wednesday, I wouldn't be laughing too much!

Pre-season friendlies are all about Fitness and team bonding of new signings (even though we dont have any).

The result is almost meaningless

Results are not the most important thing other than building confidence with the players, it is more important about performance which never happened. There are always going to be shock results in pre season games but conceding that many is a joke.
Hopefully the players will come out fighting against Leeds and we can put this behind us

Let's be honest here. We can't write off a beating like this.

It's perfectly clear that the players just don't give a @#$%& right now.

lmk: yes, I would be much happier. Funny thing, I don't like to see this club get its collective ass kicked, just on principle.
