Both teams play tomorrow on the back of 3-1 victories, Newcastle having beaten Middlesbrough on Monday night at St James' Park and Fulham having won at Craven Cottage against Aston Villa. Newcastle have won one and drawn two of their last six games whilst Fulham have won three and drawn one of their last six.

Newcastle will have a renewed confidence after their first win under manager Alan Shearer which took them out of the bottom three to 17^th place, whilst Fulham cannot finish higher than their current position of 7^th in the League and are still fending off other teams for a spot in Europe.

Alan Shearer will once again be missing Jose Enrique who is still struggling with a hamstring injury and Alan Smith who is still 50/50 as to whether he will be fit to feature as he continues to fight a thigh problem.

Striker Obafemi Martins, who has missed training this week due to his ongoing groin injury is likely to play some part but unlikely to play a full 90 minutes.

Joey Barton remains suspended after being red carded against Liverpool.

For Fulham, Andy Johnson (knee) and Simon Davies (hip) who both missed out last weekend through injury are likely to be selected, whilst Giles Barnes is unavailable due to an Achilles injury.

Fulham manager Roy Hodgson has both Paul Konchesky (knee) and Bobby Zamora fit and ready to start.

Fact: - Newcastle have picked up the most red cards this season, (six) whilst Fulham have picked up the fewest cautions all season (39, 1 was red).

I can't believe the season is coming to an end - its been the worse of my lifetime of course but its been a rollercoaster for sure!

gotta say i feel gutted! we had 65% of the ball in that half and go in 0-1. Football can be a harsh women at times lads. On the bright side i feel that we have a goal in us, and if we can nick an early one then its game on!

WE looked slow in passing etc until they scored. Now we have a bit more urgency. Viduka was great the other night but looks k.nackered. Get Lovenkrands on... we need more pace up front.

We can't lose this!

I think Fulham are as a good a team, out of the top 4 that we've played at St.James this season. They look hard to break down, and the longer we go without scoring the more pressure there is so I think Fulham are going to walk away with all three points sadly. Just think the pressure will be too much for us to respond.

Howard Webb is the biggest piece of @#$%& poor excuse for a referee I have ever seen.
He's an attention @#$%& of the highest order. Perhaps his Daddy was never there or maybe its the baldness, nevertheless he's a @#$%& @#$%&.

Steve TAylor played him onside - and then didnt defend against Kamara but ran to the goal line, ..thus giving Kamara the space to score.

Poor decisions and defending from him & Bassong today but Viduka's goal should have stood.
