48th Richest Man Linked With Toon

Takeover talks are being reported by most major tabloid newspaper sources. Reports suggest a Kuwait billionaire is set to match Ashley's £300m asking price to secure a deal by the end of next week, despite failing to meet last week's deadline. Nasser Al-Kharafi the 48th richest man in the world; was named as one of the 7 major competitors originally interested in Newcastle United.

The Sun reports:

"The Toon deal will be channelled through an Abu Dhabi company but Al-Kharafi is the man behind it. He is worth £9billion and is listed as the world's 48th richest man.

He made his money in construction and engineering and was linked with the club last month when a spokesman claimed there was 'nothing serious going on'.

But Al-Kharafi and his family have been studying documents about Newcastle's financial state and are ready to make their move.

There's a real chance they could get the club. It is possible the deal could be done by next week."

They made him out to be a racist which is pure bollox! Showed some crunching tackles on Etuhu and some other black dudes. He tackles crackers with just as much ferocity but nothing gets said about that. . .

Burn the Sun indeed!

The Eastenders of football.. Newcastle!

cant see why any potential bidder would buy now. Much better for them to see if the club goes down an buy it for a pittance.
