POLL: Should A Manager Be Employed Now or Later?

By Tyne-Talk
September 20 2008

Mike Ashley has publically declared Newcastle United FC is up for sale and Chris Hughton is acting as caretaker manager until Kevin Keegan’s replacement has been appointed. Tyne-Talk is polling all readers to see if they think a manager should be appointed now (and potentially replaced if a takeover happens) or they should wait until the club is sold to prevent any more disruption?

Ashley's playing coy about selling up and the squad can't be allowed to suffer for it. Bring in someone now; if he's successful enough a new owner may not axe him anyway and if he's unsuccessful he'll deserve the sack anyway.
