Reds to move in on Crewe's Westwood?

According to reports, Forest are planning a £600k swoop for the Alexandra defender.

This is in line with recent reports suggesting that Forest are to look at acquiring players from the lower leagues this year as they look to rebuild the side following a second successive playoff failure.

A former Manchester United trainee, he was a part of the Bradford City side that won promotion to the Premier League in 2000. He has been languishing in the lower leagues recently and since leaving the Yorkshire club has represented sides such as Stevenage Borough and Kettering Town.
