Forest watching Norweigain striker Pedersen

According to reports, Nottingham Forest have been hot on the trail of Norwegian young left-back Marcus Pedersen.

According to football news service ClubCall, Nottingham Forest are one of as many as twenty clubs which have sent scouts to see the player in action over recent weeks. The 19 year-old is apparently courting interest from Premiership sides Newcastle, Bolton and Blackburn amongst others.

He recently refused Stromsgodset's offer of a contract extension and it is believed that his preferred destination is England.

He is a striker, not a left-back. BTW, he turned 20 today.

I use to live in Drammen, Norway and a friend of mine is in charge of the VIP`s at Marienlyst (footballground) and he said that 20 clubs were watching the league match on sunday. Amongst them Forest and 6 PL clubs + Celtic. But then, Celtic is after everyone these days....

true about Celtic being after literally everyone. Their bids are actually derisory though. 1 million for wilson. Theyve gotta be joking!

How is Pederson anyway? Strong player?

Probably the most talented striker in Norway these days. Kind of a Wayne Rooney-type of player. Very powerful striker. I would love to see him at Forest however I think bigger clubs/leagues will be in for him so can`t see it happening though.

Good player that Marcus, quick shot. Biggest weakness is his head. Good arrested a few years back after beating up people for fun at a nightclub in Hamar. Looks to have grown up a bit after signing for Stromsgodset.

My mistake on his being a striker not a left back; I guess it was just wishful thinking. we really do need someone to fill that position, we're so vulnerable as it stands!

This guy sounds promising, but theres so much interest in him there is very little chance IMO.

Edit: The nightclub thing...... Dont even know what to say!
