The FA recently submitted as part of their latest bid to bring the World Cup to England, a proposed super stadium in Gamston. This is a suggestion that has had fans all over thanking the Lord. Lord Triesman that is.

The proposal that Nottingham Forest move from their spiritual home of The City Ground has been met with disgust by legions of fans. They can’t see the Reds playing anywhere other than right by the River Trent. Indeed, our altered version of Mull of Kintyre just wouldn’t work in Gamston! A place that I had to use google maps to locate.

Many of those outraged have wondered why we can’t just rebuild the Main Stand and increase the ground's capacity that way. Unfortunately council restrictions stop us from doing so, but the men pulling the strings at Forest must really think this is a case of if-you-build-it-they-will-come as it is rare that we fill our current capacity!

Following the World Cup, temporary structures would be removed and capacity reduced to 38,000.

It is also proposed that the ground become the "Wembley for women," the stage for England Womens' internationals and cup finals.

Critics point to the soulless Crisp Bowl in Leicester, or Pride Park in Derby as examples of just how flat-pack Ikea stadiums can kill an atmosphere.

Anyway, posted above is a model of the proposed stadium, and we want to know your thoughts  on the matter!
