City to offer Lescott 100k per week?

There is more speculation over the Joleon Lescott move or no move to Manchester City, today the Daily Mirror reports that Lescott will be offered £100,000 a week to switch to the City of Manchester Stadium.

A £15 million bid for the defender was turned down by the Toffees but City are expected to counter that with an improved £18 million bid although Everton have said they want £30 million before they are prepared to talk. 

If the reports are true then City would be doubling Lescott’s wages. 

Meanwhile, other reports say that Lescott is desperate to move to City.
