Jo on form as Everton thrash Rochdale

Loan signing Jo was in form as Everton easily beat Rochdale 4-1 at Spotland on Saturday with the Brazilian hitting a brace.

It was good news for Toffee’s fans as the striker has just signed a new one year loan spell with the club and is already in fine fettle netting in the 32nd and 78th minutes.

Young Shane Duffy found the net for Everton’s first after just seven minutes when he tapped the ball home and then halfway through the half Blues were rewarded with a second when Craig Dawson put the ball into his own net.

Chris Dagnall fired home a penalty to pull a goal back for the hosts but then Jo made sure of the win when he gave the Everton fans a taste of what they will be hoping to see from him this coming season.
