Tranmere have confirmed goalkeeper Gavin Ward as their third signing of the day and Ronnie Moore’s sixth so far since his arrival as Manager at Prenton Park just a few weeks ago.

It’s all go on the transfer front for Rovers as Gavin Ward becomes the third arrival at Prenton Park today following the earlier signings of Shane Sheriff and Gareth Taylor subject to medicals.
Ward 35, has signed a one year deal at Prenton Park after spending last season at Championship side Preston North End.
Ward boasts no fewer than thirteen former Clubs in his career including Aston Villa, Bolton, Cardiff and Coventry City and brings experience to the Rovers back-line.
Speaking to Official Website, Manager Ronnie Moore said “Gavin is a good experienced goalkeeper who has played at the top level. He has played in promotion winning sides and is very commanding in his area. I’m delighted he has agreed to join us”
