Tranmere are hot on the tracks of exciting Irish prospect, Gary Dicker. The UCD midfielder has caught the eye of top clubs recently, including Premiership outfit Charlton Athletic. The player is currently unknown but is set to have a big future ahead of him.

UCD midfielder, Gary Dicker, looks set to have a place in English football for the future, with a number of clubs interested in him, including Charlton Athletic and Tranmere Rovers.

The 21 year old has played for country at most levels up to under 21's, making three appearances, scoring one and captaining the side for a game.

Talking about the chances of Dicker leaving the club, UCD manager Pete Mahon said :

 "Gary's under contract here until the end of this year. When the time comes, we'll sit down with Gary, his parents and the directors of the club here and we'll speak to any interested parties."

However, if Dicker was too leave in the next two years, the club would have to pay compensation to UCD, due to UCD for his development, as the midfielder is under 23 and has been with UCD for the minimum required time of two years.
