Rumours suggest that Paul Linwood has today been recalled by Tranmere in time to play in the LDV Vans Trophy home game against League Two side Lincoln City tomorrow. If this proves to be the case, it will be a big boost to see a player returning who has been playing well this season.

Rumours today suggest that Paul Linwood has been recalled by Rovers Manager Brian Little after almost two months on loan at neighbours Wrexham.
The rumours at this stage stem from the Wrexham end of events but his return will boost the Rovers squad ahead of two must-win home matches in the next six days.
Defender Linwood, has been on loan at Wrexham since the end of August after initially starting all of Rovers first five matches this season.
Watch this space for further news on Linwood’s apparent return to Prenton Park.
