Last week we asked you, which area on the pitch you would like to see strengthened the most this season? We recieved over 100 votes, and there was a clear winner. It wasn't unexpected either, many of you have been asking for this position to be filled and quickly.

You spoke in your numbers, and it was quite clear where you intend Rovers to dip in the transfer market. With over 100 votes, Tranmere fans deciding that buying a striker in the close season is the best option for the club. A huge 79% of you wish for a striker, with midfield miles behind in second with 11% of the votes. A new defender was third on the list with a little percentage with 6% and lastly was a new goalkeeper with 5%. Many Rovers fans have been crying out for a “20 goal a season” striker, a true poacher. Since the end of the season there have been a lot of rumours, mainly about a striker coming to Prenton Park. In the not so distant future, it seems increasingly likely that Tranmere will sign a striker, and hopefully the transfers won't stop there. This season alone Tranmere have released 10 players but, so far, there have been non coming in. Once one palyer is signed, I believe a lot more will follow, so lets just hope. | |||||||||||
