We now look at the transfer Tranmere have done this season, well as no-one has come into the club during the season, we are only capable of doing the players who have left. This tags onto the article about out of contract players, as you will see one has already been released by the Tranmere Rovers board.

There have been a few shock exits this campaign, with many not knowing the real reason for some players departures.

Here now is the list of players who left us this season and their main reasons in dong so.

6. Tyrone Loran : The Dutch midfielder and defender was a real shock to me and I couldn't seem to understand this decision to let the lad go, he was strong and powerful and like a brick in defence. In his first season for Tranmere, he completely changed the look of the line-up. The only reason I could possibly think was first team football. Again I don't know why he wasn't used more often, he certainly had the potential to become a great player. Currently now at Dutch strugglers RBC Roosendaal, after completing a two months loan at Port Vale.

9. Simon Haworth : Obvious reasons why he left by his own consent. A troubling double break in his leg, that had troubled him for a year and a half and he wasn't able to find full fitness. However Simon did make a brief stint at first team football, but this just seemed to aggravate the leg even more. At the tender age of 27, some people might say its your prime, Simon was forced to quit his contract due to the everlasting problem of his leg.

10. Gary Jones : Only this week has it been announced that Gary's contract has been terminated. Gary is a true Tranmere legend, but recently seems to have lost the legs, that he recently did have for Rovers. It looked certain that he would be leaving anyway, as in January he was close to going on loan to Oldham but broke his toe, therefore wasn't able to go.

22. Neil Ashton : A promising left back but due to the competition for that position at Prenton Park, Ashton has been shipped out on loan for most of the season, Neil is currently playing for Shrewsbury, who are desperate to add his signature to their books.

24. Alan Navarro : Former Liverpool and Crewe Alexandra midfielder, looks like hes heading out, after being taken his squad number, and completely been looked over for team selection and futhermore playing away from Prenton Park and on loan at Macclesfield for a huge part of their season. Looks like he will be heading thier as they are keen to keep hold of him.

25. Paul Robinson : Left Tranmere on a free after a couple of seasons tryin to brick the sterdy barriers of the first team football. Now plays his football for York City, but is now struggling to get into their side.
