Tranmere Rovers Quiz – Thursday April 14^th (8pm)

 

Tranmere’s monthly quiz has come round again and takes place this Thursday (April 14^th) in Aldo’s – behind the Kop at Prenton Park. 

 

Entry is £1 per person and doors open at 7pm.  The quiz begins at 8pm and includes everything from topical news to general knowledge and music.  If you enjoy quizzes you’ll have fun and even though I failed to win on my last visit it was a great night!

England Ladies v Scotland Ladies – Thursday April 21^st (KO 7.45pm)

 

Tranmere host an international fixture on Thursday April 21^st when England Ladies take on Scotland Ladies at Prenton Park (Kick-Off 7.45pm).

 

Tickets cost £3 for adults and £1 for concessions and despite the game being live on Sky Sports, there is expected to be a good turn out.  Get yourself down there and support your National Ladies team in what should be a good game with Scotland having narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Womens Euro 2005 Championship this summer.

Player of the Season Awards Dinner – Monday April 25^th

 

Tranmere’s annual Player of the Season Awards dinner has soon come round again and takes place on Monday April 25^th in the Prentonian at Prenton Park.

 

Tickets for this event cost £30 and are selling fast so be sure to get one quick if you wish to attend.  The evening is to be compered by Wille Miller with help form Radio Merseyside’s Derek Jones and our very own resident comedian – physio Les Parry.

 

All the first team squad and backroom staff are expected to be there and awards up for grabs this year include:

Players’ Player of the Season

Young Player of the Season

Players’ Young Player of the Season

Goal of the Season

Les Parry “Tart of the Year” Award
