Tickets have now gone on sale for the much publicised Tsunami Soccer Aid Charity match to be held at Anfield on Easter Sunday. The event has been organised by Tranmere captain Jason McAteer and is set to feature a number of celebrities from TV, Music and of course football.

A Liverpool Legends XI team will take on a Celebrity XI team at Liverpool FC's Anfield Stadium on March 27th 2005 (Easter Sunday) with Kick Off a 4pm.  The two teams already have a number of confirmed players witn more still to confirm. Current squads are as follows:

Liverpool Legends XI - Managed by Roy Evans

John Aldridge, John Barnes, Kenny Dalglish, Robbie Fowler, Bruce Grobelaar, Alan Hansen, David Johnson, Kevin Keegan, Jason McAteer, Steve McManaman, Neil Ruddock, Ian Rush, Phil Thompson.

Celebrity XI - Managed by Harry Redknapp

Nicky Byrne, Harvey (So Solid Crew), Kasabian, Ralf Little, Brian McFadden, Niall Quinn, John Regis, Shane Ritchie.

The event has been put together by Tranmere's Jason McAteer and his agent Dave Lockwood and is set to raise a large amount of money for the appeal for aid following the terrible Tsunami in Asia on Boxing Day last year.

Tickets are now available from both the Tranmere Rovers and Liverpool FC Ticket Offices during their opening hours and are priced as follows:

Adult - £15.00

Over 65's/Disabled Concessions - £10.00

Children Under 16 - £5.00 (Only 6 Children admitted per Adult).
