Vote for Your TRFC Man of the Match vs Shrewsbury Town (A)

After Rovers earned a somewhat fortunate draw away at Shrewsbury Town this afternoon, we are asking you to vote for your TRFC Man of the Match for the game on a day when a number of Rovers players underperformed.....

After Rovers earned a point in the final two minutes thanks to a goal from Jean Louis Akpa Akpro after struggling for much of the other 89 minutes, we are asking you to vote for your TRFC Man of the Match for the game using the poll on the link below.

During a poor first half from Rovers, Shrewsbury's long ball tactics had Rovers under a lot of pressure and eventually the home side took the lead just before the break with an unmarked header for Marvin Morgan.  However, although there was some improvement, Rovers still struggled after the break and threatened the home goal just enough to force a late equaliser from Akpro.

The point earned at Greenhous Meadow keeps Rovers joint top of League One behind Yeovil on goal difference after one home game and two away.

how awful was he? over weight aswell. as soon as wright outpaced him once that was it he beat him everytime

Ludicrous.Even more so is that the majority seemed to think that Wright was their best player-Richards,particularly in the first half was clearly their MOM.

overweight? So overweight Celtic were seriously considering him, so unless their scouts were wearing the wrong prescription glasses with the "Shallow Hal" prescription in them, then that Shrewsbury fan is way off the mark.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

Celtic were not seriously considering him that was just his agent talking him up.

Calling Danny overweight is ridiculous. There are few fitter players at the club.

Maybe the Shrewsbury fan thought Andy Morrison had come out of retirement. Now there was a player of questionable girth.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
