After another week of submissions, we have chosen our winner in the second and final giveaway of the new Tranmere Rovers Book, Tranmere Rovers: The Complete Record. After the success of our first such competition, we last week launched our second and final competition which enabled one of our lucky readers to win a signed copy of the newly launched Tranmere Book, Tranmere Rovers: The Complete Record and we can now confirm who the lucky recipient of the book is.

A week ago, we took a Tranmere Rovers related fact from within the pages of the new ‘Bible' of Tranmere Rovers and asked you e-mail us with your answer.  The question we posed was as follows.....

Which Player holds the record for the most Tranmere Rovers Career Appearances?

Book

The question was answered correctly by the majority of those who entered with all of them correctly stating Ray Mathias as the correct answer.  A couple of entrants went for perhaps the more obvious answer in Harold ‘Bunny' Bell but with 638 Appearances in total for Rovers, Mathias beats Bell by just five appearances.

The names were placed into a hat last night after the closing time had passed and one was drawn at random by an independent person who chose the winner of the Book, signed by all three authors, as Mr. Jeff Lee from Greasby who has already been contacted about collecting his prize.

As a reminder to those who missed out on winning this prize and also the last competition,  you can still buy the book yourself at a discounted price exclusively through Total Tranmere using the details on THIS LINK.
