Pre-Season Friendly List Continues to Grow

Another pre-season friendly has been added to the list of matches that will take place ahead of the 2009/10 season as a probable Rovers Youth side will once again play against Cymru Alliance side Buckley Town who are based over the border in Flintshire.

A fourth pre-season match has been announced for Rovers on the back of the two first team and one likely youth team pre-season games already confirmed in recent days.

The latest game to be added sees a probable youth side travel to Flintshire in North Wales to face Cymru Alliance side Buckley Town who they have played in recent pre-seasons before.

A few days ago we announced that three other teams had confirmed that they will face Rovers at home as Cammell Laird, Southport and another Welsh side Holyhead Hotspur host Rovers ahead of the new season.

The game at Buckley will kick-off at 7.30pm and nearer the time we will bring you details of how to get to the Ground for the game.

So far Rovers' friendlies for 2009/10 pre-season are....

Fri 10th July - Holyhead Hotspur (A) Kick Off 7.00pm

Tues 14th July - Cammell Laird (A) Kick Off 7.00pm

Tues 21st July - Southport (A) Kick Off 7.45pm

Weds 29th July - Buckley Town (A) Kick-Off 7.30pm

Games in Blue: Likely First Team Friendlies

Bolton has been suggested as one possible friendly since last year's game was flooded off.

bolton arent big there in prem league and lucky to sell out.
crewe have landed three good ones

villa and sum1 else how come we aint got any decent ones liverpool again would be good fore the club last year we must of made sum money. jut dont want bolton again.

I know it makes money but I'd rather play anyone but Liverpool.

Bolton evidently are big, they're a settled premier league team. There might be other reasons they don't sell out every week, such as ticket prices, recession..

I'd rather play Everton or Man City/Utd - can't see them happening though.
