Pre-Match Moore "It's Vital We Tighten Up At Home"

In his pre-match comments ahead of the visit of Cheltenham Town tomorrow night, Ronnie Moore stressed the need to tighten up at home following the damaging run of three straight defeats at Prenton Park to Oldham, Colchester and Millwall in recent months.
Ronnie Moore today gave his thoughts ahead of the home game against Cheltenham Town on Tuesday night.
Moore told Tranmere World.................
"After the performance we had against Millwall, it was vital that we got ourselves back on track and we did that on Saturday against Leyton Orient."
"We were playing away from home and we went with the 4-5-1 formation that has worked well for us. It's nice that we are now four games undefeated on our travels with three wins and a draw."
"It was more like us on Saturday. It was a workmanlike performance and one that deserved the points."
"It's vital that we tighten up at home and don't give ourselves a mountain to climb. We need the first goal to allow us to kick on. We need to make the crowd stick with us through our performance and stay positive and focussed."
"We've got two home games coming up and if we can win both we'll be in a much better position in the division."
"It's difficult this week. They'll be in training today (Monday), then off tomorrow for the game. We'll have them in on Wednesday to get the game out of their legs which only gives you one full day to train them for the game on Friday. It's not easy but it's the same for the sides we're playing against."
"Craig [Curran] still has the stomach problem and George O'Callaghan was ill over the weekend. He hasn't trained this morning, but he'll be in tomorrow so we can have a look at him. Everyone wants to play."
