All the pre-match news as Gillingham travel to Prenton Park on Tuesday night in Coca-Cola League One as Rovers look to record a hat-trick of back-to-back wins for the first time this season after victories away at Millwall and at home to Yeovil Town on Saturday.

After two wins on the bounce in the League, Rovers entertain poor travellers Gillingham on Tuesday night with a chance to move even closer the play-off places that many fans thought was beyond their side a few weeks ago.
The fact that Rovers went nearly three months without an away win and yet still remain just four points from the last play-off place goes to prove just how tight this League can be at times with most teams seemingly capable of beating anyone on their day.
A win on Tuesday would be the first time that Tranmere have won three consecutive matches this season but Gillingham will not be coming to Prenton Park to lie down and Rovers' defending will have to be better than it has been in recent matches if they are to get all three points.
When the two sides met earlier in the season, it was Rovers who triumphed at the Priestfield Stadium 2-0 thanks to goals from Chris Greenacre and Steve Davies in either half.
The last meeting at Prenton Park in December 2006 was a little more frustrating for Rovers as they stormed into a 2-0 lead inside six minutes, only to find themselves 3-2 down at the break, a scoreline that remained unaltered for the rest of the match sending the Gills home triumphant.
The Gills have taken just eight points from a possible 39 available on the road this season but the only two wins they have mustered have both come within the last six away matches along with one of two away draws this season which suggests that new Boss Mark Stimson may be starting to steady the away performances after a terrible early season run in the road.
Rovers on the other hand are almost the opposite too Gills. After an early slump in home form, they have now won four of their last six at Prenton Park and will be hoping for another three points on Tuesday night.

Ronnie Moore should have both Chris Greenacre (thigh strain) and Paul McLaren (knee) available after injuries despite McLaren going off early in the 2-1 win over Yeovil on Saturday.
Greenacre, who had missed the two recent away trips to Hereford and Millwall, was an unused substitute in that game and may be in the same position on Tuesday.
Steve Davies and Chris Shuker (cruciate ligaments) are both likely to be sidelined for the rest of the season.
