The fans have spoken as we bring the results of our Man of the Match and Player Ratings Polls for the 3-1 away defeat at Leyton Orient last Saturday.

 

The results are in once again and here is how Total Tranmere readers voted in the man of the Match and Player Ratings Polls for Tranmere’s recent 3-1 defeat away at Leyton Orient last Saturday, a game in which Rovers had a makeshift defence but did manage a goal themselves thanks to Chris Greenacre.

 

In the Man of the Match poll, as if to prove how under pressure Rover's makeshift defence were, the award went to goalkeeper Gavin Ward whose string of fine saves saved Rovers from an embarassing scoreline in the end.

As in the Man of the Match poll above, Gavin Ward comes out on top with an average rating of 8 out of 10, just ahead of Jason McAteer and goalscorer Chris Greenacre who both got 7 out 10. 

 

Calvin Zola's disappointing performance upfront saw him score jsut 2 out of 10 for this game, with makeshift defender Gareth Taylor scoring little better with 3 out of 10.
