The results are in so here is how Total Tranmere readers voted in the man of the Match and Player Ratings Polls for Tranmere’s recent trip to Boundary Park where unfortunately Rovers lost 1-0.
In the Man of the Match poll, returning loan signing John Thompson stormed to victory by polling 54% of the 13 votes cast ahead of his central defensive partner Chris McCready and striker Gareth Taylor.
Somewhat bizarrely, goalkeeper Gavin Ward polled a Man of the Match vote despite his clanger that ultimately cost Rovers the match late into injury time.
