The magic of the FA Cup returns to Prenton Park for the second time in a month on Saturday as League Two side Peterborough United visit in the second round of the competition.
The atmosphere is expected to be excellent as Posh bring over 30 coaches of away support after the Chairman offered free travel for this tie in a bid to boost the side’s support in the game.
Peterborough progressed to the second round with a comfortable looking 3-0 win over Tranmere’s League One rivals Rotherham United at London Road thanks to goals from Butcher, McLean and Crow.
Tranmere of course overcame Conference side Woking at Prenton Park by 4 goals to 2 after a mini-scare that saw the non-league outfit foght back from 3-0 down to 3-2 before Rovers added a late fourth.
Both sides are in form at the moment with Rovers only defeat in their last six games coming at home in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy to League Two side Darlington on 31s October. Posh have lost two of their last six matches which included a defeat in the Johnstone’s Paint Cup away at Bristol Rovers in midweek.
Last time the two sides met was in League One at Prenton Park in March last year as Rovers demolished their southern rivals 5-0 with goals from Hume, McAteer, Whitmore and two from Paul Hall.
Get down to Prenton Park and get behind the lads as the Posh fans are sure to be doing for their side.

Rovers will be without the injured Jason McAteer, Steven Jennings, Carl Tremarco and Kevin Ellison whilst striker Gareth Taylor has not trained all week due to a hamstring injury and may also miss out.
If Taylor does miss out, Calvin Zola who is just returning from injury may well deputise upfront alongside Chris Greenacre.
Midfielder Danny Harrison is suspended after a red card in a recent reserve game.
Peterborough United
Aaron McLean boosts Posh with a return from a foot injury and Guy Branston, Shane Huke and Jude Stirling who were all rested for the midweek defeat in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy should all be in contention for a place.
