By Road

Gigg Lane itself is closed on Matchdays but there is plenty of other street parking for cars in the surrounding area as no car parks are available at the Stadium.

§         Exit the M66 at Junction 3 and then at the junction take the left hand turning and proceed on this road until you reach the traffic lights where the road meets the A56 Manchester Road.

§         At the lights turn right in the direction of Bury where you will pass a Pub called the Swan and Cemetery and then some playing fields.

§         When the playing fields end and just prior to another set of traffic lights and two Pubs, Gigg Lane and the Stadium are on the right hand side.

§         For Parking, proceed past the turning for Gigg Lane and turn right onto Parkhills Road.

§         Parkhills Road and the side streets off it are available for Matchday Parking and are a short walk from the Stadium.

By Rail

Bury is not served by the Mainline rail network but is served by the Metrolink Tram system which runs to Bury from Manchester Rail Stations and surrounding areas.

The Metrolink can be taken from either Manchester Piccadilly or Manchester Victoria Stations and the Metrolink Station at Bury is about 15 minutes walk from the Stadium.

§         Turn left out of the station along a pedestrian walkway that takes you underneath the dual carriageway.

§         After passing under the dual carriageway, turn right towards the Town Hall and just before the Town Hall, turn left into Knowsley Street.

§         At the bottom of Knowsley Street turn left onto the main A56 Manchester Road and proceed straight along Manchester Road for about half a mile and you will reach Gigg Lane on the left hand side.

You can also catch Bus Numbers
134, 135, 136 and 137 from the Metroink/Bus Interchange.  These run every ten minutes down Manchester Road and past the end of Gigg Lane.  Ask for the Gigg Lane stop.
