All the pre-match team news and statistics ahead of Rover’s visit to the Valley Parade Stadium to face Bradford on Saturday. While Rovers will be looking to keep pressure on at the top they will also be looking to pick themselves up after losing a 2-0 lead to Huddersfield ending up with a 2-2 draw.

Tranmere travel to the Valley Parade looking to grab the 3 points from a decent looking Bradford side who have made a good start even though like Rovers they threw away a 2 goal lead in midweek eventually drawing 3-3

 

After 11 games Rovers are 2^nd with Bradford 6^th 3 points behind.  Bradford managed a 3-3 draw in midweek after going 2-0 up after just 23 minutes thanks too 2 Windass strikes while Tranmere also threw away a 2 goal lead drawing 2-2.

 

Bradford have been in fine form at home and are unbeaten while Tranmere have lost 2 in there away travels. Tranmere are still without many key players due to injuries and suspensions and will be looking for a result with a depleted squad.

 

Bradford will be looking to bounce back from a midweek setback and also trying to climb further up the table attempting to leapfrog Tranmere.

 

The last meeting at the Valley Parade saw a 0-0 draw although earlier in the season Tranmere where knocked out of the FA cup to Bradford after 2 quick goals cancelled out Tranmere’s single goal and put them ahead.

 

Tranmere will be looking to keep up what has been a good start to the season as will Bradford although both are looking to bounce back from midweek setbacks after throwing 2 goal leads away.  It promises too be a very tough game for a depleted rovers squad as Steven Davies is likely to get his first start of the season.

 

Bradford City:

 

Bradford are likely to be unchanged, with Richard Edghill continuing at full-back, with former Rovers player Alan Rogers out with a hamstring injury.

Central defender Matt Clarke is still out with a groin problem

Tranmere Rovers:

Tranmere are without Gareth Taylor (cheekbone) for six weeks, while striker Calvin Zola is likely to miss out with a hamstring injury.

Chris McCready (hamstring) is also a doubt and Paul McLaren is serving a one-match suspension.
