The YEP today reports that Leeds are expected to tie up a season long loan deal this afternoon for a Premiership player, in time to face Wolved tomorrow. There is no nam, but many are in the frame. Garry Flitcroft from Man City has been linked, but a season long loan may be unlikely given his age. Arsenal's David Bentley is another, but the Gunners are looking to sell not loan, so also would be a long shot. Another name doing the rounds recently has been Massimo Maccarone of Middlesborough, and the Italian could be a suprise capture for Blackwell. However, it looks as though it is Blackburns Jonathon Douglas, a young player in the last year of his contract, who can play at the back. Douglas was previously on loan at Gillingham, and doesn't appear to fit into Mark Hughes' plans. If we do get a forward, it would seem that one of our current bunch may be on the way out, with both david Healy and Michael Ricketts attracting attention.
