With just over 2 days to go until the transfer window closes, expect plenty of activity at Elland Road. Boss Neil Warnock is looking at bringing 3 players in, but that number could change depending on the expected sale of Lucciano Becchio.
So who's coming in? First player due in is Aston Villa's Stephen Warnock. the full back has been linked for the last couple of weeks, and a deal seems close. Speaking at West Ham's press conference, their boss Sam Allardyce said he had hoped to sign him, but a Championship club seem to have beaten us to it by offering a longer deal - which ties in perfectly with reports of an 18 month deal on offer...
Other players linked include Habib Habibou, a 6ft 4 striker who plays for Zulte Waregem, Reading defender Kaspars Gorkks and Norwich forward Steve Morison, along with an audacious bid for former favourite Max Gradel.
Like I say, much will depend on outgoings. Warnock has already cleared the decks with the departures on either loan or released of Robbie Rogers, Danny Pugh, Ramon Nunez, Paddy Kisnorno, Paul Connolly and Andy Gray. The other player expected to go is leading scorer Lucciano Becchio. Clubs from Turkey and China abroad are linked, with Aston Villa and Norwich also mentioned as possible destinations. The more clubs interested the better for Leeds, to help drive his price to around the £3 million mark.
We are regularly told that Sean Harvey is 'working hard' on transfers, but as yet, there has been little movement in, apart from tying up a couple of leanees (Ryan Hall and Michael Tonge), and Ross Barkely on a 1 month loan.
Expect plenty of movement over the next 2 days as Warnock tries to get some much needed quality in for the rest of the season...
better off if NW signs a few lads from my local football team. At least 3 of them are leeds fans and would put a propper shift in. Names mentioned above just highlight how low we have sunk
Wouldn't surprise me if all our transfer dealing is already done. And to be honest, I would rather play some from the Development Squad than the likes of Stephen Warnock, Habibou and Gorkks.
I would be worried if we're relying on the sale of Becchio to fund transfers for these three players. Proves that GFH don't have the financial power to invest in Leeds' push for the premier league

Not falling for anything fella, just willing to give the new owners a chance, something that you clearly aren't.
Wonder if there's gonna be a midfielder coming in? The number 10 shirt is still vacant! Would love to see a winger/wide-midfielder & we have used #10 in midfield/left-side in the past...
