GFH Confirm Takeover NEARLY completed...

GFH and Leeds Uniuted have today published a joint statement confirming that GFH will purchase 100% of the club.  The deal is on progress with the first part done yesterday and final part to be completed by 21st December 2012.

The long drawn out deal has been months in the making, and both sides had to concede ground to ensure the deal was pushed through.  GFH will take 100% ownership of the club with Ken Bates remaining as Chairman until the end of the season when he will move to the postion of president.

It is understood the Football League has still to ratify the takeover but this is seen as a formality.

The club has a couple of days of the loan window to bring in new players to a team that has struggled in recent games, and the fans will be excited at the prospect of additional funds being made available to Neil Warnock in the January transfer window.

More news as we get it...
