Leeds face mission impossible this weekend as they travel to QPR.  Leeds need to win and hope Nottingham Forest lose at Crystal Palace - whilst overturning a goal difference of 6.

Realistically, it's not going to happen, but Simon Graysons men have got to go with the mentality that it might.  Nothing would be worse than Forest slipping up at Palace by a few goals, and Leeds just going through the motions at QPR.

Undoubtably Leeds have the firepower to score a hatful of goals - recent games against Reading and Burnley could, and should have seen many more goals than the 1 that they managed.  A bit more luck, a less inspired goalkeeper, and a bit more composure, could have brought 4 or 5 goals in both games.  The vunrability at the back is the achilles heel, although the return of richard Naylor does seem to have added some much needed stability there - who'd have thought that a few months ago.

If Leeds, as expected, fail to reach the play offs - it could be the last game in a Leeds shirt for several of the squad.  Neil Kilkenny and Bradley Johnson are both out of contract in the summer and expected to move on.  Sanchez Watt, George Mccartney and Jake Livermore will all complete their loan spells, whilst wingers Max Gradel and Robert Snodgrass, along with forward Lucciano Becchio are expected to be targets for Premiership teams.

All Leeds can do is to win - and win well -it's in the laps of the gods then...

I'd still believe if we'd converted our chances against Burnley but the goal diff is too big to turn around imo.
