Leeds 2 - 1 Darlington

Leeds limped through tot he next round of the JPT Cup with an unconvincing 2-1 vicotry over Darlington last night at Elland Road.

Simon Grayson chose to field a weakened side fromt he regular line up that included returns for White, Prutton and Kandol and although Leeds started brightly and went 2-0 with goals from Kandol and Robinson, they allowed Darlington back into the clash and went in to the break at 2-1.

 The second half was a drab affair but Leeds held on to progress.
