Leeds V Tranmere - A Tranmere fans view

Leeds Utd welcome Tranmere to Elland Road this weekend in the League 1 clash. Leeds are currently 6th in the table, picking up only one point from the past six, but with a new manager in Gary McAllister, Leeds will be looking to get off to winning ways.

Here we talk to Tranmere Rovers fan, Mark Ridgeway who gives us his inside views on what to expect from his team; 

: What is your name and how long have you supported Tranmere ?
Mark: I am Mark Ridgway I've been going to Tranmere since I was 7


: Best moment supporting Tranmere ?
Mark: Probably beating our rivals 3-0 at Goodison in the fa cup a couple years ago.


: Worst Moment Supporting Tranmere?
Mark: Either relegation from the championship or loosing in the play off the other season.


: Who is Your All-Time Favourite Tranmere Player?
Mark: Gareth Roberts always gave his all, never had a bad game and played in some crucial games. (also popped up with some important goals.)


: Who would you say is Tranmere's "One to Watch"?


Mark: At the moment Calvin Zola is in great form, causing havoc in defences.
: Do you have any Youngsters to look out for?


Mark: Craig Curran has great potential, doesn't really get a chance though, plays 10mins each game.
: What Do You Fear Could Go Wrong This Season?


Mark: I can't see us being involved in the relegation so maybe not finishing in the play offs.


: Which Player would you personally Pay to Leave the Club?
Mark: I know he holds the ball up well and was good in his day, but I personally don't think Gareth Taylor is up to football at this level and shouldn't be in the teams. I wouldn't be bothered if he left.


: Is Ronnie Moore the Right Man for the Job?
Mark: Despite what a few of our fans say, I think he is. He has had lost both wingers (Davies & Shuker) for the season and countless other absentees. He should definitely get another season with us.


: Which Team did you most want to beat this season and when you have played them did you manage to beat them?
Mark: It would have been nice to beat Crewe (drew & lost), but obviously it'll be nice to beat Leeds, Forest, Carlisle(got the double over them)


: Most Admired Opposition Player?
Mark: Jermaine Beckford is a bit special.


: Most Detested Opposition Player?
Mark: SEAN THORNTON!! Traitor, was brought up by the club and was talking with other clubs behind our back. He's not even that good and get sent off for Orient all the time.


: Where Do You See Tranmere Finishing This Season?
Mark: just outside the play offs 7th/8th


: Do you think either of Tranmere or Leeds will get relegated/promoted this season from their respective Divisions?
Mark: Nope, Leeds will loose in the play offs.


: Finally, your prediction for today's game?
Mark: 1-1 draw. I think we'll take the lead but a draw will be a fair result.
