Marcus Hahnemann was unfortunate to concede three times especially as the team has had a pretty solid defence for the better part of this season. Jamie Young will be the American 'keeper's back up on the bench whilst Adam Federici continues at Maidenhead United.

In defence neither Ibrahima Sonko or player of the month Ivar Ingimarsson need worry about their mix up in the last game as Martin Keown is injured and will not feature. The centre-back duo will be thankful of the chance to get Reading's defence back to normal service.

With the back five the same, and James Harper and Steve Sidwell continuing in midfield the area where Coppell may ring the changes is on the wings and up front. Andy Hughes will play on either the left or the right of midfield and is unlikely to be left out. So it's between Glenn Little, Paul Brooker and Bobby Convey for the other flank. Most likely Little will continue on the right with Hughes on the left. Dean Morgan has also played on the wings and has an outside chance of featuring there again.

Up front Les Ferdinand still waits for his first goal and he will probably be kicking himself that he hasn't stuck the ball in the net for the Royals yet. Nicky Forster has partnered Ferdinand in the last few games but Lloyd Owusu continues to nick the odd goal and grabbed a consolation last week at Elland Road - he'll hope to displace one of the two front men. Dean Morgan set up that goal and will also hope to be involved. The Royals have released Ahmet Rifat, whilst Bas Savage and youngsters Johnny Mullins and Scott Rendell are all out on loan.

Coventry are without Tim Sherwood, Andy Morrell and Stephen Hughes got concussion last Saturday. They welcome back Richard Duffy from a hamstring injury - he'll slot back into his left back position tomorrow. Claus Jorgensen also returns to the squad after missing last week's game due to a death in the family.

Micky Adams has signed Leicester reject Trevor Benjamin from Northampton. He of course knows Paul Brooker and legends Les Ferdinand and Martin Keown from his days with the Foxes. He could displace either Dele Adebola or Stern John

Between the sticks Ian Bennett, on laon from Birmingham, will replace over-stretched youngster Luke Steele, whilst third choice 'keeper Scott Shearer is out on loan with Rushden & Diamonds.

Adie Williams would have missed his return to Reading if he'd been booked last week, he wasn't, and he's likely to partner Fulham's Dean Leacock.

Still seeking that elusive win the Royals take on a side which has lost five straight and Dean Morgan and Kevin Dillon have made it clear that anything other than a win will be a tragedy for the Royals in terms of pushing on for promotion. The last time Coventry won was against struggling Rotherham.

Equally another loss for City could put them in the relegation zone so it'll be a battle tomorrow. In the middle of it all will be a number of players trying to impress. Coventry have their new keeper and striker both keen to make a good first impression, whilst Stern John has declared that he intends to fight to win the support of the City fans who have recently been on his back. For Reading James Harper has slated his performance last week as rubbish and the strikers will be desperate for goals. Adie Williams will be keen not to go out (or rather off) in the same manner as former Royal Jamie Cureton who was sent off during his return to Reading and the Royals' defence will be just as keen to keep a clean sheet as Adie.

With a number of teams creeping up on Reading in and below the play-off zone the Royals must get back to winning ways tomorrow, if not this could just be the beginning of a confidence-draining slide to mid-table oblivion. But hopefully it'll be three points for the Royals and the start of some good form to take them back up towards the leading trio of clubs, Ipswich, Wigan and Sunderland.
