Ceri Hughes is amongst the 16, who although was reported to be going on the Scotland tour with the first team squad, he is now staying home and will travel to Woodspring Park this evening.

Tonight's game is a big chance for certain players to prove they are still good enough for first team
contention.

David Hughes, Kevin Evans, Michael Simpkins and Mark Walton are all rumoured to be in danger of being released and tonight's game is a good chance for them to show they are worthy of a place in the Bluebirds squad.

Contrary to earlier reports, Ceri Hughes did not travel to Scotland for the pre-season tour.

Chris Collins and Kristian Diamond are both on trial at the club and also have something to prove tonight.

All 16 players are expected to get a game tonight.
