Three more players join the staff, all on free transfers but at least it's positive activity and should help to lift spirits in the build up to kick off next month.

With a string of away friendlies to look forward to, but only one original home fixture against West Bromwich Albion and of course Earnie, action off the field is taking off with new signings, another new kit and more protestations from incoming players about what a big club we are!

And to add to our expectations a home game against Italian Serie A side Udinese has been arranged for July 27th!

Neil Cox, aged 33 and a veteran of more than 500 games joins on a free from Watford. He comes with a ringing endorsement from Robert Page and Neale Ardley.

It looks like the team will be less Welsh and more British next season with Cox being joined by young Scot Jamie McCunnie from Ross County. A hint of Holland is added with Glen Loovens joining in time for the game at Accrington Stanley on Saturday 16th.
