The Bluebirds entertain one of the bigger names in British football tonight, when West Ham make their third appearance in just over 12 months at Ninian Park.....

It will be wet and windy but not without incident at Ninian Park as the visitors bring with them a squad aiming to get back to the Premiership again; but they have stuttered on the raod recently. A  1-1 draw at Plymouth means that they are hoping for three points on Tuesday evening.

West Ham United will select from - Bywater, Repka, Walker, Fletcher, Powell, Harewood, Lomas, Brevett, Davenport, Nowland, Mullins, Reo-Coker, Hutchison, Chadwick, Zamora, Etherington, Ferdinand and Rebrov.

The Bluebirds should field an unchanged team who played so well without scoring on Saturday against Leicester City.

Cardiff City  manager Lennie Lawrence hopefullywill maintain the "new" formation with Paul Parry playing behind Irishman Alan Lee in an unfamiliar but enterprising 4 - 4 - 1 - 1 set up. Parry is the new Ryan Giggs it seems  - Lennie basing his new role on the position Giggs often plays for Manchester United.

The impressive Joe Ledley should start on the left. On loan Gary O'Neil and skipper Graham Kavanagh in the middle with recent signing from West Ham Jobi McAnuff on the right. Tony Warner continues in goal having firmly established himself as the first choice custodian. Danny Gabbidon is now playing as we all know he can, hopefully putting thoughts of transfers to the back of his mind.

A big crowd is expected, and as both teams need to win it should be a good game. The Bluebirds are finding their feet, and according to Lawrence should be in the top six! West Ham think they are a premier League side, so there is no shortage of ego's in either camp! 

We are due a win, we haven't beaten the Hammers since 1962!
