Cardiff City manager Lennie Lawrence will probably begin the game with same eleven from the Withdean on Tuesday evening.  This means midfielder Joe Ledley getting another game, and  up front will be Peter Thorne and Alan Lee.

Millwall with games in hand due to their UEFA Cup campaign ( albeit shortlived ) have started the season well and are seventh in the Championship table, only two points away from a play off position.

The Lions took four points from Cardiff City last season and the game at Ninian Park started a poor run for  us over the Xmas period, however the bluebirds did get a point at the New Den shortly after Millwall's FA Cup semi final win at Old Trafford.  

Strict policing will be in force for the travelling fans attending this high profile game, with coaches being met  miles from the ground to be escorted in. Approximately 700 city fans have booked for this day out in South London.

Millwall are on another good run, and have won their last three games at their home ground. Tony Warner will be returning to the ground where he enjoyed five seasons as the Lions custodian. The Bluebirds really do need to bring something home if they are to put relegation fears behind them and climb out of the bottom three.
