So another 90 minutes of football goes by at Ninian Park without a home goal. That is FIVE consecutive home games and one point and NO CCFC goals.....

I don't care if we hit the post or the bar, we didn't score and some of the early season luck we were enjoying this time last year is going against us, but 9 points from TWELVE games is relegation form, and Lennie said we should judge him after this number of games.

Todays game was better than some of the previous matches we've endured however both teams were content to kick and rush for long periods. Not too much quality football was served up for the 17,000 fans.

On the pitch Campbell was poor, and Peter Thorne was not much better. The defence looked more solid without Rhys Weston and to be fair Gabbidon had a much better game than some of his recent Ninian Park appearances. The midfield grafted hard and looked more balanced, perhaps we should try resting Kavangh? The bright spots were the home debutants - I don't think Campbell will figure in long term plans he really looked short of confidence. Jerome who came on for him looked raw but enthusiastic...

We hit the bar and the post and missed a penalty. The penalty was weakly struck by poor Andy Campbell, but why did he take it? Nobody else volunteered....

Leeds were a shadow of the team we played in the Cup but they fought hard and rode their luck, and they easily could have sneaked a goal.

Nice to see a load of part time middle aged hooligans swelling the numbers, and it was amazing that they spent 90% of their afternoon watching the away enclosure. The chants of Harold Shipman are becoming extremely tedious and annoying to many, and there was quite a bit of backlash on phone ins last night anout the "Istanbul" chants. We are not winning many friends at the moment.  

Let's face it and after over a quarter of the season nobody can deny it, we are facing relegation square in the face. Lennie said judge me after 12 games, in the great scheme of things 0.75 points per game isn't good enough. The players are well paid but are not performing to the level they should be or can, perhaps two weeks rest will do them good.
