Friday the 13th proved a nightmare for Cardiff City, with Plymouth Argyle leaving Ninian Park with all three points following a lacklustre display from the home side. In our 'local derby' of the Championship, an own goal from Lee Bullock was enough to separate the two sides at Ninian Park.

Cardiff City lost their first Football League Championship game of the season with their worst performance of the campaign. An own goal from Lee Bullock handed Plymouth Argyle the points and West Country pride in a game that was the 'local derby' for both teams.

Live Sky cameras at Ninian Park and the opening ceremony of the Olympics saw the crowd slashed to just over 12,600, with a good following from Devon included. However, the fans witnessed a poor display from the home side with question raised once again over our woeful defensive capabilities.

Lennie Lawrence picked the same starting line-up for the third consecutive game, with Paul Parry and James Collins once again left on the substitutes bench. After tonight's efforts - changed should be made - and the duo deserve a chance to impress at Portman Road. Parry was introduced towards the end of the game and looked very lively, causing problems down the left, whilst Collins would add some height to a wobbly backline. Willie Boland was once again available for selection, but spent the game warming the substitutes bench.
