City earn £50k from Josh Low transfer

Former City midfielder Josh Low has signed for Northampton Town for £165,000. The Bluebirds will earn around £50,000 due to a 30% sell-on clause agreed when he moved to Oldham in August 2002.

Low becomes Northampton’s record-signing and their 12th addition of the summer. Cobblers boss Martin Wilkinson is ecstatic that he managed to persuade Low to drop down in Division Three despite interest from Bradford.

Low’s pre-season form has been good and Oldham will definitely miss their 6ft 1” midfielder. City will be glad of the £50,000.
