Crewe Accept Hulse Bid

Crewe Alexandra have confirmed that they have accepted an offer from Cardiff City for striker Rob Hulse.

The bid is undisclosed, but believed to be in the region of £700,000.

The 23-year-old was top scorer at Gresty Road last season, and the newly-promoted side were desperate to hold onto the rising star, but were forced to place Hulse on the transfer list after he rejected an offer of a new contract.

Lennie Lawrence must now look to agree personal terms with the player, as fans anxiously await City's first big money signing since Chris Barker joined from Barnsley almost 12 months ago.
